Where did Christmas come from? What is it really about?

y-christmas-wofIn the video below, Father Robert Barron addresses where Christmas came from and what it is really about. Christ “tabernacled” among us through the incarnation: “Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” The good news of Christmas, the meaning of Christmas, is that we are called, summoned and challenged to be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect. It’s about God coming down to us, that we might become participants in his own nature, and that we might realize the fullness of the truth that he is; the truth of what we can become.
